Terms of use

These terms govern the use of Sylcat (the app and syl.cat). By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 14 to have your own account in Spain. Younger children's accounts are created by their parent or guardian, who is responsible for their use.
  • Your account is personal. Keep access to your email safe and tell us if someone uses it without permission.
  • You can delete it at any time from Settings or from syl.cat/en/delete-account.

Community rules

What you post must follow the community rules (syl.cat/en/rules): respect, safety, looking after places and protecting minors. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break them.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You allow us to show it on Sylcat while it is published. Spots belong to the community: if you delete your account, the ones you added stay on the map without your name.

Safety

Parkour carries risks. Train at your level, warm up, respect private property and each place's rules. Spot information comes from the community and may be out of date: check it yourself. Challenges have risk levels and only low-risk ones give XP. Sylcat does not organise users' meetups and is not responsible for them.

Sylcat Pro

  • Pro is bought on the App Store, Google Play or on the web. The price and length are shown before you pay.
  • If it includes a free trial, the chosen plan is charged when it ends unless you cancel before.
  • The subscription renews automatically. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings, or from your purchase email on the web.

Gyms, schools and organisers

  • When you buy an entry, a pass, a class or a fee, the seller is the gym, school or organiser. Sylcat only provides the platform and charges the seller a fee.
  • Refunds, class cancellations and each centre's conditions are decided by the centre.
  • Gyms and schools also accept Stripe's terms to take payments and are responsible for their tax details and what they sell.
  • Promotions are paid upfront; every person reached costs €0.02 and whatever is not shown is refunded when it ends or is stopped.

Paws

Paws are loyalty points, not money:

  • They cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money.
  • They can only be redeemed for what each partner gym offers, within the limit the gym sets.
  • They expire after 12 months. Those earned by inviting friends (adults only) are released after 14 days, with at most 10 rewarded invitations a month.
  • We may remove paws obtained by cheating.

Liability

We provide Sylcat as it is, with care but without guaranteeing it is always available or error-free. We are not liable for indirect damage or for what other users, gyms or schools do, except where the law does not allow this to be excluded.

Changes and governing law

If we change these terms we will tell you in advance. They are governed by Spanish law; if you are a consumer, you can go to the courts where you live.
